Justice Rama Joyce who served as Jharkhand and Bihar Governor has died. Rama Joyce was a well-known judge and writer until he became governor. Joyce served as the Chief Justice of the High Courts of Punjab and Haryana. However, The NDA government assigned the governorship to him in recognition of Rama Joyce’s services. Rama Joyce was born in Shivamogga, Karnataka, on July 27, 1932. In 1959, Joyce entered the legal profession.
The Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Courts progressively was Joyce. Later, Rama Joyce was a Justice of the Supreme Court and a member of the Rajya Sabha. The NDA government named Rama Joyce as its governor after his retirement in 2000.
