Four New IPS officers Appointed for Telangana: Latest Current Affairs Of 21 Jan 2021
Four new IPS officers have been assigned by the Central Government to the Telangana state. The 150th IPS officers of the 73rd IPS (RR) batch to be posted were directed by the Union Home Ministry. Seven of these were allocated to the States of Telugu (4 for Telangana and 3 for AP). Paritosh Pankaj of Bihar at 142 ranks, Sirishetti Sankirt of Telangana at 330 ranks, Patil Kantilal Subhash of Maharashtra at 418, Ankit Kumar Sankwar of Uttar Pradesh at 563 ranks are allotted for Telangana state. In addition, MV Satyasai Karthik ranks 103, which was selected from Telangana for IPS, was allocated to Maharashtra, Sheetal Kumar ranks 417 assigned to Assam, and Rajanala Smritik ranks 466 allocated to Chhattisgarh.

Former Governor Mata Prasad of Arunachal Pradesh has passed away. In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Mata Prasad died of multiple organ failure at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGM). In Uttar Pradesh in 1988-89, Mata Prasad was a minister in the government of Congress. Besides, Mata Prasad elected as Governor of Arunachal Pradesh in 1993. Mata Prasad has 97 years of age and ended his journey with organ failure.
