Tamil Nadu TET Notification 2022
Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TN TRB). TET is a state-level exam that is conducted to appoint proficient teachers for the Primary and Upper Primary levels in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is mandatory to qualify for the Tamil Nadu TET 2022 Examination for those who want to make a career in the teaching field. The opportunities are huge in amount for the Primary and secondary teacher posts. TN TET Eligibility Test consists of Paper I and Paper II for the year 2022. Applicants who are going to finish well in both preliminary as well as mains exams will be posted as either primary or Secondary level of teachers.
Once you clear this Tamil Nadu TET 2022 then this TN TET certificate is valid for 7 years. Primary level teachers would teach from up to 5th class only. A well as the secondary level of teacher would teach the students from 6th to higher classes. Educational Qualification For TNTET Notification 2022
TN TET Paper I:
- Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Course (10+2 Pattern) and Diploma in Teacher Education/ Diploma in Elementary Education from a Recognized Teacher Training Institute for classes I to V.
- Applicants who are appearing final Year Examination of D.E.Ed. during the current Academic Year are also permitted.
TN TET Paper II:
- Contenders must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. /B.Sc. / B.Litt.) with Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography as major subjects in their Degree course or a Degree with any one of the equivalent subjects from a Recognized University.
- As per TNTET Notification, candidates who are appearing for the Final Year Examination of B.Ed. during the current Academic Year are also permitted.
Age Limit
- The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and a maximum of 40 years of age to apply this Tamil Nadu TET 2022 Notification.

The Exam will be an Offline mode exam. The duration of the TET Examination will be given 3 hours. The TNTET question paper will conduct for 150 questions for 150 marks. Each answer will carry 1 mark.
