New Chief Minister of Uttarakhand: Gk for Today
On March 10, Tirath Singh Rawat was sworn in as Uttarakhand’s new Chief Minister. At the Raj Bhavan in Dehradun, state Governor Baby Rani Maurya administered the oath of office to him. The only person who took the oath was Tirath Singh. He was previously elected as the chief of the BJP Legislative Party in the state. Tirath Singh is a member of Parliament from Uttarakhand’s Pauri Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency. From 2013 to 2015, he was the president of the Uttarakhand BJP. Currently, He serves as the BJP’s national secretary.

MSME Technology Center In Andhra Pradesh: Gk Current Affairs 2021
In Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Technology Center has been created. The center, which was built on 20 acres at a cost of Rs 133 crore, was virtually inaugurated on March 10 by Union Road Transport and MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari from Delhi. The event was attended by MSME Union Assistant Minister Pratap Chandra Sarangi of Delhi and AP Industries Minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy. The center’s goal was to train 8,500 qualified manpower for the engineering industry every year for the next five years.

On March 10, the Supreme Court took a major move in recognizing the importance of taking up check bounce cases pending in courts across the country. In this regard, a high-level committee has been formed to make relevant recommendations. Justice RC Chavan, a former Bombay High Court judge, is the chairman of the committee. Within three months, the committee must present its recommendations. A five-member apex court, led by Chief Justice SA Bobde of the Supreme Court, has established special courts to speed up the settlement of cases involving the Negotiable Instruments Act.

INS Karanj has joined the Indian Navy: General knowledge Today
The Indian Navy has received the third stealth Scorpion class submarine, INS Karanj. The event took place at the Navy Dockyard in Mumbai on March 10th. The event, which was chaired by Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh, included former Navy Chief VS Shekhawat as the chief guest. The Western Naval Command will be in charge of the INS Karanj. So far, Mazgaon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. has completed the construction of six Scorpion class submarines. The INS Karanj is available in diesel and electric variants. The submarine is fitted with a powerful weapon system and sensors that can endure any disaster that happens under the sea surface.
