Mission Gramodaya: Today Current Affairs In English
In Madhya Pradesh, Mission Gramodaya was launched to provide basic amenities to rural areas as well as housing to the poor. The Mission Gramodaya was initiated by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. An amount will be paid to 5 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana beneficiaries as part of the program. In the Federation Cup women’s 200m, Tamilnadu’s Dhanalakshmi broke the record of 23-year-old Athletics legend P. T. Usha record. Dhanalakshmi qualified for the finals by winning the 200m semifinal in 23.26 seconds. On March 18th, Punjab hosted the National Senior Athletics Championships. In the 200 meter Heat-2, Dhanalakshmi, who beat Duti Chand in the 100 meters, overtook Hima Das, one of India’s top female runners. Hima of Assam came in second with a time of 24.39 seconds. Simrandeep from Delhi came in third with a time of 24.92 seconds. Andhra Pradesh’s Maddali Supriya came in fourth with a time of 25.03 seconds, and Assam’s Happy Gogoi came in fifth with a time of 26.71 seconds.
