Appointment Of Hima Das as DSP: Free Current Affairs For Banks
Indian star athlete Hima Das has been honored by the Assam government with a senior job. She was appointed as Deputy Police Commissioner (DSP). The appointment papers were handed over by Assam Chief Minister Sharbananda Sonowal to 21-year-old Hima Das. At the 2018 World Junior Championships, Hima Das captured the 400 meters world title. In the same year, at the Asian Games, she won gold and silver. Hima Das, an Indian sprinter, was excited to be in the first place. Hima also confirmed that, in addition to her sporting career, she will continue to work for the betterment of the state.

Skotch Governance State Of The Year: Top 10 Current Affairs Of Today
Telangana State has selected by Skotch Group as the ‘E-Governance State of the Year‘. The prestigious Skotch Awards for the year 2020 have been granted to the Telangana State Government in appreciation of its initiatives. Telangana is using information technology to provide better services to its people (IT). Telangana’s IT minister, KTR, was called the ‘Best Performing IT Minister.’ On February 23, Jayesh Ranjan, Chief Secretary, Telangana IT, and Industries, presented Minister KTR with the SKotch Award. The award was given to KTR by Sameer Kochhar, Chairman of Skotch. KTR was also presented with the Skotch Award in 2016, making him the first minister to receive the honor twice.

Bus Bookings at IRCTC: 27 February 2021 Current Affairs

Singamaneni Narayana Passed Away: Free Current Affairs Of February 2021
A renowned story writer and editor of the Vishalandhra Publishing House editorial board, Singamaneni Narayana (78), has passed away. Singamaneni was born in Marur Bandameedapally, Raptadu Mandal, Anantapur District, on 23rd June 1943. Educated in Tirupati at Oriental College, he retired in 2001 as a Telugu teacher. Singamaneni’s first novel, ‘Nyayamekkada,’ was published in 1960. Books like Singamaneni Kathalu, Anantham, Seema Kathalu, Inupagajjela Thalli, Telugu Kathalu-Kathana Ritu have also been edited by Singamaneni. In addition,’ Singamaneni’ was honored with the Kalaratna award by the state government in 2017.

On 26 February, 38-year-old all-rounder Yusuf Pathan announced his retirement from all cricket formats. As a big hitter, Yusuf Pathan began his international career with a solid start. With the 2007 T20 World Cup, he started his professional career. With a strike rate of 146.58, Yusuf, who played a total of 22 T20 matches, scored 236 runs and took 13 wickets with his off-spin.
