NIC Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification
Scientist-B (Group A): BE/ B. Tech/ ME/ M.Tech/ M. Sc/ M. Phil degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized University/ Institute is required for NIC Scientist Recruitment 2023.
Scientific Officer/ Engineer (Group B): BE/ B. Tech/ ME/ M. Tech/ M. Sc/ MCA degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University/ Institute.
Scientific Technical Assistant (Group B): BE/ B. Tech/ ME/ M. Tech/ M. Sc/ MCA degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University/ Institute
NIC Scientist Jobs Age Limit
As per NIC Scientist Recruitment 2023 Notification, the minimum age limit is 18 years whereas the maximum age limit is 30 years.
NIC Selection Process
- For NIC Scientist-B, Scientific Officer/ Engineers-B posts, the selection process will be a Written Test/ Interview for the various positions.
- And for the Scientific/ Technical Assistant-A post, the selection is based on the written Test.

NIC Scientist Application Fee
- Candidates who are applying for more than one post, require to pay Rs 800/- for every post.
- For General and all other candidates, Rs.800/- per application per post.
- SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates are exempted.
