Best Scientist In Asia: Important Current Affairs
Dr Surajit Dara has been listed to the Top 100 Scientists in Asia ranking. He is a professor at Hyderabad’s Central University (HCU). Since 2016, Asian Scientists Magazine has been making these selections on an annual basis. A scientist must have received a national or international award in the previous year and made significant contributions to scientific science are eligible. Surajit Dara was awarded the prestigious Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Award in Science and Technology for the year 2020. He also won the Golden Jubilee Fellowship Award in 2015, the Varsity Chancellor Award in 2013, and the Physics Association of India’s NS Satyamurthy Memorial Award in 2012. World’s Longest Pedestrian Bridge: Latest Current Affairs Today

Since it was established in the Arauka Geo Park region, it is known as 516 Arauca. It is the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge. It was recently launched and was designed in Portugal. The bridge is 1700 feet long and was designed solely for pedestrians. The bridge was constructed entirely of iron rods and took two years to complete. It cost $2.8 million to build. Besides, Arouca is located 300 kilometres north of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon. With 494 metres, the Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge is the longest.
