Rajiv Gauba Tenure Extended: Today Current Affairs
Rajiv Gauba has been granted a one-year extension by the government. Gauba works for the Central Government as a Cabinet Secretary. In 2019, Gauba, a former Union Home Secretary, was chosen for a two-year term as the country’s top bureaucrat. Cabinet has approved extending the service of Cabinet Secretary Gauba, a 1982 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Jharkhand cadre, for another year beyond August 30. Gauba is credited with being a key figure in the creation of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act. He has also worked as the Union Ministry of Urban Development’s Secretary and the Ministry of Home Affairs‘ Additional Secretary.

AL-MOHED AL-HINDI 2021: Gk Current Affairs 2021
For the first time, the Indian Navy will practice with the Saudi Arabian Navy as part of its efforts to enhance its position in the Gulf. The drill at Al Moheed Al Hindi 2021 began on the 9th of August 2021, whereas the sea-based exercise will begin on the 11th of August 2021. In recent years, India and Saudi Arabia have begun to deepen their defense cooperation. Global Youth Development Index: Free Current Affairs In English
The Commonwealth Secretariat in London produced a list of 181 countries in the Global Youth Development Index. Between 2010 and 2018, India ranked among the top five countries in the world in terms of youth development. In the most recent rating of the Global Youth Development Index, India is rated 122nd. Singapore was ranked first in the world in the global rating. Slovenia, Norway, Malta, and Denmark are the next countries on the list. Overall, the score demonstrates that young people have improved peace processes, as well as their education, job, and health, since 2010. Global education has also increased by 3%, with South Asia leading the way with a 16 percent improvement.

Keshavarao Passed Away: Important Current Affairs
Justice Potlapally Keshavarao of the Telangana State High Court has died. Justice Keshavarao was born at Pendyala village, Warangal district, on March 29, 1961. He graduated from Kakatiya University with a law degree and became a member of the Bar Council in 1986. From 2010 until 2016, he served as the Special Public Prosecutor for CBI cases, hearing arguments. In 2015, he was appointed to the GHMC Standing Council, and in 2017, he was appointed to the High Court as a judge. Finally, the Chief Minister recalled Justice Keshav Rao’s legal services to the poor as a judge.

Ujjwala 2.0: Free Current Affairs Of The Day
Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh. He began the Ujjwala scheme by providing LPG connections to those living below the poverty line (BPL). With the Ujjwala scheme, poor households are no longer subjected to the smoke and trouble of wood.
