“PM Gati Shakti”: Today Current Affairs in English
On 13th October, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil the Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti, the country’s first national infrastructure masterplan. The Gati Shakti Master Plan will serve as the basis for the National Infrastructure Pipeline initiative, which aims to increase the competitiveness of Indian industries by lowering logistical costs and strengthening supply chains. Mr. Modi introduced the Gati Shakti program on Independence Day this year. This will bring together 16 Ministries, including seven major infrastructure sectors, on a single platform to coordinate project planning across stakeholder ministries, avoiding duplication, expediting approvals, and filling gaps at the appropriate moment. The Gati Shakti platform will deliver data in real-time, allowing for greater collaboration.

The Indian Navy, together with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, the Royal Australian Navy, and the United States Navy, will take part in the second phase of the Multilateral Maritime Exercise Malabar. India, Denmark Sign 4 Agreements: 11 October 2021 Current Affairs
Following bilateral meetings between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Danish counterpart Mette Frederiksen in New Delhi on 09th October, India and Denmark signed four agreements and resolved to increase cooperation. The agreements were made in the fields of skill development and entrepreneurship, traditional knowledge digital library, natural refrigerants for tropical climates with possible uses, and groundwater resource and aquifer mapping. In addition, the two countries agreed to strengthen their relations in the sectors of health and agriculture. Following the talks, Prime Minister Modi told the media that India and Denmark have maintained their collaboration even throughout the epidemic. He said that a year ago, during their virtual summit, both nations made the historic decision to form a green strategic alliance.
