Bhupendra Patel, The new CM Of Gujarat: Latest Current Affairs Today
Bhupendra Patel, a Ghatlodia BJP MLA, will be sworn in as Gujarat’s new Chief Minister At 2:20 p.m. on Monday, September 13th. State governor Acharya Devvrat will administer him the oath of office and secrecy at Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar. He will be replacing Vijay Rupani, who resigned on September 11th. Patel is the current Chairman of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s Standing Committee (AMC). He was also chairman of the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA). In 1999-2000, he was president of Memnagagar Nagarpalika, in 2008-10, he was vice-chairman of the AMC School Board, and in 2010-15, he was a councilor from Thaltej ward.

PM Modi Inaugurated Sardardham Bhavan: Today Current Affairs in English

Central Govt Launches 7 Food Processing Projects: Today Gk Affairs
In Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, the Central Government has launched seven food processing plants on September 10th. As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The initiatives started with video conferences by Pashupati Kumar Paras, Minister for Food Processing, and Prahlad Patel, Minister of State for the Food Processing Industry. The programs will give 3,100 people with direct and indirect jobs and 16,500 farmers and entrepreneurs benefits. The developments cost over 164 crore rupees in total. The food processing ministry also decided to celebrate Food Processing Week from the 6th to the 12th of this September month as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
‘Medicines from the Sky’ project: Free Current Affairs of Today
On September 11th, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced the “Medicines from the Sky project”, which would allow drones to deliver medicines to Primary Health Care Centers. The project was launched in Vikarabad, Telangana. Drones carry vaccines and other medicines to Public Health Centers as part of the initiative. In 16 green zones in Telangana, the initiative would be pilot-taken and expanded up nationally based on information. In the Green Zone, flying drones need not be permitted although in the Yellow Zone permits are necessary and the Red Zones are no-fly zones. In ten minutes, the first drone carried a five-kilogram box of vaccine shots to a community health center three kilometers away.
