Mandatory NSV’s For National Highway: Free Current Affairs Of April 2021
In order to improve road quality and ensure the safety of road users, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has made the use of Network Survey Vehicles (NSVs) mandatory. Highways will be captured by the NSV using a high-resolution camera. To improve the efficiency of national highways, the NHAI has agreed to use network survey vehicles. NSV uses cutting-edge surveying techniques including high-resolution digital cameras for 360-degree images, image/video recordings at regular intervals, and a laser road profilometer. NSV will also collect data to assess road conditions, including road surface measurements. The information gathered through the NSV survey will be submitted to NHAI’s Data Lake portal.
