Jagjit Kaur, the wife of late musician Khayyam, passed away. The most renowned song is Jagjit Kaur’s ‘Tum Apna Ranj-o-Gum Apni Trouble Mujhe De Do‘ from the film Shagun. Khayyam and Kaur married in 1954. In the film industry, it was one of the first intercommunal weddings. For his contributions to music, Khayyam has earned the Padma Bhushan, National Award, and Filmfare Award from the Sangeet Natak Akademi. The ‘Khayyam Jagjit Kaur Charitable Trust‘ was established by them. Its goal is to assist struggling artists in the industry. 1st Drone Forensic Laboratory and Research Center: Free Current Affairs
In Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Police developed a Drone Forensic Laboratory and Research Center. This research center will also look at the utilitarian aspect of unmanned aerial vehicles. At a ceremony conducted at the SAP Parade Ground, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan unveiled the unique program. Within a five-kilometer radius, the system will be able to detect all types of drones. It will be able to shoot it down as well. In view is a laboratory institute set up by the Kerala Police.
