19th Governor of Goa: Today Latest Current Affairs
PS Sreedharan Pillai was sworn in as Goa’s 19th Governor. He replaced Bhagat Singh Koshyari, who was also the Governor of Maharashtra at the time. Dipankar Dutta, the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court, administered the oath of office to Sreedharan. Mamnoon Hussain, the former President of Pakistan, has died. Hussain was born in the city of Agra in the year 1940. From September 2013 until September 2018, he served as Pakistan’s 12th President. He was the governor of Sindh from June to October 1999, when Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s government was overthrown by then-Pakistan Army Chief General Pervez Musharraf.
