The session’s theme was “Collaborating to Achieve Zero Hunger: Successful Projects Implemented by Ministries of Agriculture.” He urged countries to embrace the Millet Year celebrations in order to promote nutrition and sustainable agriculture. Mr. Tomar added in his virtual address that taking the importance of nutritious cereals into account, the United Nations accepted the Government’s proposal and named 2023 an International Year of the Millets.
