FM Nirmala Sitharaman’s 2-day Visit: Today GK Affairs
The Union Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, will visit Jammu and Kashmir for two days beginning November 22. This will be her first visit to J&K as Finance Minister since the abolition of Article 370. She will also dedicate the Aayakar Bhawan-cum-Residential Complex in Rajbagh, Srinagar, on the first day of her visit to Jammu & Kashmir. She’ll also meet with women entrepreneurs from Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and officials from the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) and the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIT&C) (CBIC). Later in the day, the Union Finance Minister will inaugurate the Externally Aided Projects (EAP) & Mission Youth Program at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) on the outskirts of Srinagar.

INS Visakhapatnam: Today Current Affairs in English
The Indian Naval Ship (INS), Visakhapatnam was commissioned into the Indian Navy on November 21st, Sunday at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai, in the presence of Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh, spoke on the occasion, saying that the Indian Navy’s role is critical because India is a member of the Indo-Pacific route. He claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s SAGAR strategy symbolizes the qualities that enable India to become an indigenous shipbuilding powerhouse. INS Visakhapatnam, the Indian Navy’s P15B stealth-guided missile destroyer, was designed in-house. The Minister praised the Indian Navy’s efforts to be self-sufficient.
Rani Gaidinliu Tribal Museum: 22 November 2021 Current Affairs
On November 22nd, Home Minister Amit Shah will lay the foundation stone for the Rani Gaidinliu Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum in Luangkao village in Manipur’s Tamenglong district through video conference. The project, which is estimated to cost 15 crore rupees, has been sanctioned by the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs. The State Cabinet agreed to build a museum in Luangkao Village, Tamenglong District, where famed freedom warrior Rani Gaidinliu was born and named it the Rani Gaidinliu Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs is holding its Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav week, which was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, commencing on November 15th.

Gallantry Awards: Daily GK Current Affairs
At the Defence Investiture Ceremony conducted at Rashtrapati Bhavan on November 22nd, President Ram Nath Kovind bestowed Gallantry Awards and Distinguished Service Decorations to Armed Forces Personnel for exhibiting indomitable courage and exceptional commitment to duty. For destroying terrorists in an operation in Jammu and Kashmir, Sapper Prakash Jadhav of the Corps of Engineers was posthumously awarded the second-highest peacetime gallantry award, the Kirti Chakra. President presented the prize to his wife and mother. Major Vibhuti Shankar Dhoundiyal received the Shaurya Chakra posthumously for his involvement in an operation that resulted in the elimination of five terrorists and the recovery of 200 kg of bomb material.
