Pilot Project: Latest Current Affairs Today
The Ministry of Textiles has approved the Pilot Project on Skilling Design and Commissioning Technical Personnel Associated with the Application of Geotextiles in Infrastructure Projects. The project will be coordinated by the Indian Institute of Sciences in Bangalore, the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, and the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee. In cooperation with the other concerning centers, the coordinating faculty of the respective engineering specialties will oversee the execution of the special courses. All aspects relating to the conduct of these courses will be coordinated by the Ministry of Textiles. A batch will include a minimum of 75 and a maximum of 100 applicants, and each of these three Institutes will have two batches during the pilot period.
