Agni Prime Missile Tested: Today Latest Current Affairs
DRDO successfully test-launched the Agni Prime modern missile from the Agni series. In the previous three decades, India has built five Agni-range missiles. Agni Prime is the Agni range’s newest and most sophisticated missile. A nuclear-capable missile manufactured by the Defense Research and Development Organization ( DRDO ) was successfully test-fired off the coast of Odisha’s Chandipur. This new missile has a range of a thousand to two thousand kilometers. Various radar and telemetry sites on the east coast were used to track the missile. With a range of 4,000 kilometers, It is lighter than Agni-IV. It was thereafter incorporated into the army in 2004.
