New DG Of NIA: Important Current Affairs In English
Kuldeep Singh, the Chief of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), has been appointed as the Director-General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). He will succeed YC Modi, who is stepping down. In September 2017, NIA Chief Y C Modi, an Assam-Meghalaya cadre IPS officer from the 1984 batch, was charged with the job. On the other hand, YC Modi was a member of the terrorist leader alliance in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as other incidents involving terrorist police alliances. In the meantime, the authorities have handed an additional charge of NIA to Kuldeep Singh until a permanent appointment is made. Kuldeep has been appointed by the Union Home Ministry. As a result, Kuldeep will take over the chair on June 1, 2021.

Indian Citizenship For Non-Muslim Refugees: Latest Current Affairs For Today
Non-Muslims who have asked for refuge in India from Pakistan, Afghanistan, or Bangladesh will be granted citizenship. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notification allowing non-Muslim refugees to apply for Indian citizenship immediately. The Central Government, acting under Section 16 of the Citizenship Act of 1955, recognized minorities from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh as Indian citizens. Non-residents of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh who live in Morbi, Rajkot, Patan, Gujarat, Durg and Chhattisgarh, Jalore, Udaipur, Pali, Barmer, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab can apply for Indian citizenship online.

IPL Will Be In UAE: Gk Current Affairs For Today
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has chosen to hold the remaining matches of the 14th IPL in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The IPL is set to restart between the 18th and 20th of September and conclude on the 10th of October. The 13th season of the IPL was held in the UAE last year, and it was a huge success. In the United Arab Emirates, there are three main stadiums. Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Dubai International Cricket Stadium, and Sharjah Cricket Stadium are all located in Abu Dhabi. In addition, the BCCI is hosting the T20 World Cup in 2021. The T20 World Cup will be held in India in October and November. However, The BCCI is yet to confirm the date.

43rd GST Council Meeting: Free Current Affairs Of The Day
