A technical advisory group has recently been established by the Health and Family Welfare Ministry to review the adverse findings of the National Family Health Survey-5. The Ministry, under the leadership of Joint Secretary Preeti Pant, has set up a technical committee of medicine and nutrition experts. State program officers from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka are also included in the expert community. In December 2020, the fact sheet of the 1st phase of the National Family Health Survey-5 was declared.
