Nitesh Ranjan has been appointed as Executive Director of the Union Bank of India (UBI). His appointment will take effect on March 10th, according to the bank. Nitesh Ranjan holds a master’s degree in economics and has completed the IIM Bangalore Leadership Development Program. Ranjan previously worked at Union Bank as the Chief General Manager. Previously, he was the Chief Investor Relations Officer and the Head of Treasury Operations. He was the bank’s chief general manager, in charge of guiding the bank’s various objectives, including end-to-end digitization. Since 2008, Ranjan has worked for the Bank. The headquarters of UBI is in Mumbai. The new CEO of UBI is G. Raj Kiran Roy.

The Gita was first published in Tamil in 1951, with his commentary, and then in English in 1965.
