Naveen Patnaik inaugurates India’s first ‘Fire Park’ in Bhubaneswar
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the First Fire Park in Odisha state at Bhubaneswar. It is to create awareness about the fire safety measurements in the people, particularly students. If any fire accident happens in the school, college, and the universities like educational areas they have to know the basic sense to save their lives. This Fire Park is located inside the premises of Odisha Fire and Disaster Academy. Naveen Patnaik also launched the online portal which is Agnishamaseva of Odisha fire service. The fire park will facilitate demonstration on use of first aid free fighting equipment.

D Prakash Rao is a social activist and Padma Shri recipient person, and he has passed away. Basically, through the ‘Asha O Ashwasana’ school, which he started in 2000. He was a tea seller based in Cuttack, who spent all his earnings educating slum kids. For his contribution to boosting the importance of education among slum children in Cuttack.
