New Chief Executive of ICRIER: Today Gk Affairs
The Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations(ICRIER) has appointed Deepak Mishra as its new Director and Chief Executive. Rajat Kathuria, who has been the Director and Chief Executive since September 1, 2012, will be replaced. In addition, he is the World Bank’s Practice Manager for Macroeconomics, Finance, and Investment. He graduated from the Delhi School of Economics with an MA in Economics and the University of Maryland with a Ph.D. in Economics. Mishra has worked for the World Bank in a number of capacities.
