Educational Qualifications – WEBCSC Assistant (Grade-III) Recruitment 2025
Candidates applying for the Junior Office Assistant role must be graduates with computer knowledge, while the Clerk-cum-Cashier position requires a higher secondary qualification and basic computer skills. The proofreader must have a graduate degree in Mass Communication & Journalism, whereas an Assistant Accountant needs a B.Com (Hons) with a diploma in financial accounting. For the Salesman/Salesgirl role, a higher secondary qualification and two years of experience are required.

WEBCSC Job Openings – Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): An online test with 85 multiple-choice questions covering Bengali/Nepali, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Clerical Aptitude.
- Descriptive Written Test (DWT) & Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): Conducted for specific posts, qualifying in nature, carrying 50 marks.
- Interview: Candidates shortlisted from CBT will be invited for an interview with 15 marks.
Final Merit List: Prepared based on CBT and interview scores.

The gross pay for various positions includes Junior Office Assistant (Rs. 35,290/-), Field Supervisor/Office Assistant (Rs. 27,647/-), Assistant cum Supervisor (Rs. 29,422/-), Senior Salesman/Salesgirl (Rs. 26,960/-), Clerk-cum-Cashier (Rs. 36,914/-), Proof Reader (Rs. 35,758/-), Cashier-cum-Clerk (Rs. 12,729/-), Assistant Accountant (Rs. 34,602/-), Office Assistant (Rs. 29,286/-), and Accountant (Rs. 17,292/-).
Age Criteria
As of 01/01/2025, the lower age limit for all categories (UR, SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and EWS) is 18 years. The upper age limit is 40 years for UR and EWS, while it is 45 years for SC, ST, OBC-A, and OBC-B.
