Educational Qualifications – SSC GD Notification 2026

• Must be a citizen of India.
• Must hold a Domicile/PRC of the State/UT mentioned in the application (except Assam and specified exempted categories).
• Should have passed Matriculation/10th Class from a recognised Board/University on or before 01-01-2026.
• NCC Certificate holders are eligible for bonus marks (optional).

Salary/Stipend

• Pay Scale: Level-3
• Salary Range: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 per month

• Maximum Age: 23 years (Candidates must be born between 02-01-2003 and 01-01-2008)

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deducting military service
• Children/Dependents of 1984 riot victims receive age relaxation of 5 years (UR/EWS), 8 years (OBC), and 10 years (SC/ST).
