The Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), a think-tank within the Department of Science and Technology, has launched a Saksham career portal that will perform employee skill mapping exercises according to MSME requirements. On TIFAC’s 34th Foundation Day, it also launches a seaweed cultivation mission. The “Saksham” work portal will help remove intermediaries, labor contractors and help define the level of skills and build “shramiks” skill cards (workers).
