The Eastern Naval Command’s(ENC) Commander-in-Chief is Vice Admiral Ajendra Bahadur Singh. Ajendra Bahadur, a Naval Defense Academy graduate, entered the Navy in 1983. In 2011, Ajendra Bahadur received the Vishisht Seva Medal, and in 2016, he received the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal. Toy Fair-2021: Important Current Affairs Of Today
On February 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the country’s first ‘Toy Fair-2021.’ The title sponsor of this toy fair is the well-known toy manufacturer ‘Hamley.’ Toy fair – 2021, which will be held virtually until March 2, will feature over a thousand exhibitors from different states and union territories. PSLV-C51 Satellite Launched Successfully: Today Free Current Affairs
On February 28, 2021, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully launched the PSLV-C51 satellite carrier. Satish Dhawan Space Center-Shar in Sriharikota, Sullurupeta Mandal, Nellore District, Sri Potti Sriramulu hosted the experiment. PSLV-C51 successfully deployed 18 satellites into different Sun-Synchronous Orbits ranging from 537 to 637 kilometers in a period of 1.38 hours. This is ISRO’s first commercial launch. Furthermore, this is the first time Indian private companies have launched satellites into orbit. For commercial operations, ISRO has founded “New Space India Limited.”
