New Chairman of APRACA: Free Current Affairs Of Today
The Asia-Pacific Rural Agriculture Credit Association(APRACA) has named Dr. Chinthala Govinda Raju as its new Chairman. Chintala, on the other hand, will remain in this role for another two years. Chinthala is currently the chairman of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). DPK Gunasekera, the CEO of the Bank of Ceylon, will be replaced by Chintala. On the 5th of March, he was appointed by the 73rd EXCOM and the 22nd General Assembly Meeting of the APRACA, both of which were held virtually in New Delhi.

DRDO Tested (SFDR) Technology Successfully: 08/03/2021 Current Affairs
The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) successfully tested India’s Solid Fuel Ducked Ramjet (SFDR) technology. On March 5, the test was held at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, Balasore District, Odisha. Indian Athletics Coach Nikolai Passed Away: Latest In Current Affairs
Nikolai Snesarev, the coach of Indian Athletics (Middle and Long Distance), died on March 5. In 2005, Snesarev took over as India’s coach for the first time. However, due to disagreements with the Athletics Federation of India, he resigned in February 2019. On March 2, two years after being re-appointed as a coach, he returned to India. Snesarev was coaching Avinash Sable, a 3000m steeplechaser who qualified for the Olympics. Sudha Singh, the 2010 Asian Games gold medalist, was also under his control.
