Buddhadev Dasgupta Passed Away: Gk Current Affairs For UPSC Exams
Buddhadev Dasgupta, a Bengali filmmaker, has died. In the 1980s and 1990s, Buddhadev Dasgupta, together with Gautam Ghosh and Aparna Sen, brought good cinema to Bengal. He was born in Purulia in 1944 and began his career as a college lecturer. The National Award for Best Feature Film awarded to Dasgupta’s five films. He has received the National Award for Best Director for two films. With his first film, Dooratva, in 1978, he proved himself as a poet, songwriter, and filmmaker. 14th Session Of UNCCD COP: Today Current Affairs
