Chief of Indian Air Force: 22 September 2021 Current Affairs
Air Marshal V R Chaudhari, the current Vice Chief of Air Staff, has been named the future Chief of the Indian Air Force (IAF) by the government. He will take over after Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria retires on the 30th of September. Air Marshal V R Chaudhari was commissioned into the Indian Air Force’s Fighter stream on December 29, 1982, and has held a number of commands, staff, and instructional appointments, including his current position as Vice Chief of Air Staff. The UN-sponsored Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) has given Prime Minister, Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina the SDG Progress award for Bangladesh’s consistent progress toward attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDSN was established in 2012 under the UN Secretary General’s authority. Prime Minister Hasina is now in the United States for the United Nations General Assembly’s 76th session (UNGA). According to Bangladesh’s official news agency BSS, Foreign Minister Dr. A K Abdul Momen described the prize as “an international validation of Bangladesh’s success in spearheading the SDGs.”

On his three-day visit to the United States, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave on September 22nd to attend the Quad Leaders’ Conference.
