World’s Tallest Railway Bridge: Free Current Affairs of Today
In the north-eastern state of Manipur, the world’s highest rail bridge pier will be built shortly. Indian Railways is constructing this bridge in Manipur’s Noney Valley. The bridge stands at a height of 141 meters. It is part of the planned Jiribam-Imphal railway route, which spans 111 kilometers. It is being built with the goal of connecting Manipur’s capital with India’s broad gauge network. With a height of 139 meters, the bridge will break the record of the Mala – Rijeka viaduct. It is situated in the European country of Montenegro. By December 2023, the bridge is expected to be finished. Sixty-one percent of the tunnels in the 111-kilometer project are underground.

Border Security Force: Today Current Affairs in English
On December 1st, the Border Security Force, or BSF, will mark its 57th Raising Day. Pankaj Kumar Singh, Director General of the Border Security Force BSF, stated on the eve of the raising that stringent border patrolling along with the deployment of monitoring equipment has dramatically reduced incidences of livestock smuggling between India and Bangladesh. Mr. Singh told the journalists in New Delhi that just 18 thousand cattle were seized this year, down from approximately 1.7 lakh livestock two to three years ago. According to the BSF DG, the majority of the Bangladesh border is fenced, with about 10% to 12% remaining unfenced due to challenging terrain. Drone flights are a source of concern for him along the Punjab-Jammu border, he added.

World AIDS Day takes place on December 1st. It is marked each year on December 1st to honor the efforts done to stop the pandemic. World’s Newest Republic: Latest Current Affairs Today
Around 400 years after being a British colony, Barbados has become the World’s Newest Republic. Barbados, a Caribbean island republic, has deposed Queen Elizabeth II as monarch. Barbados’ President, Dame Sandra Prunella Mason, has taken office. In October 2021, Mason was elected as Barbados’ first president. During a joint meeting of both Houses of Parliament, Mason was chosen as President of Barbados. The identity of Arthur Holder, Speaker of the House of Assembly, has been disclosed. The British are supposed to have turned Barbados into a “slave society.” In 1625, it became an English colony for the first time. In 1966, it declared independence.

Water Professionals Programme: Latest in Current Affairs
The first edition of the Indian Young Water Professionals Program was virtually launched on November 29, 2021. The program’s premiere was attended by Manpreet Vohra, India’s High Commissioner to Australia, Barry O’ Farrell, Australia’s High Commissioner to India, and Debashree Mukherjee, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Jal Shakti. The National Hydrology Project was tasked with implementing the program. The National Hydrology Project is a DOWR and RD & GR Central Scheme. The Australian Water Partnership is behind it. The seeds for this program were planted in November 2019 during a co-design workshop on “Sustainable Water Management” with the National Hydrology Project (NHP). For the inaugural edition of the program, around 20 participants were chosen from central and state implementing agencies of the National Hydrology Project, including 10 men and 10 women.

Cryogenic Rocket Engine: Current Affairs 2021
India’s first privately produced cryogenic rocket engine, the Dhawan-1, was successfully test-fired by Skyroot Aerospace. The Vikram-2 launch vehicle’s upper stage was shown by Skyroot Aerospace. The cryogenic rocket engine is built entirely of 3D printed parts and is manufactured entirely in India. Satish Dhawan, the third chairman of ISRO, was honored with the name. He was the driving force behind India’s enhanced launch capability. The vacuum thrust of the Dhawan-1 engine is approximately 1.5 kN. Solar Industries in Nagpur put the engine through its paces on a specially built testbed. Vikram-2’s engine is the vehicle’s top stage. It employs LNG and LOX, two environmentally beneficial fuels. It’s completely made of 3D-printed parts. Satish Dhawan is commemorated with the name Engine.
