Nirbhay Missile Tested Successfully: Top 10 Current Affairs
The Nirbhay Cruise Missile was successfully tested by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). The missile, which has a range of 1000 kilometers, was successfully test-fired at Odisha’s Chandipur range. The Air Force and Navy will receive the Nirbhay missile that is currently being tested. This missile is capable of sea-skimming and terrain hugging. The Nirbhay Cruise Missile has two stages. In the first step, solid fuel is used, and in the second stage, liquid fuel is used. This missile is capable of carrying a conventional payload weighing up to 300 kg. It has a maximum range of 1500 kilometers. By flying at least 50 meters above the ground and up to 4 kilometers, this missile can kill the target.
