Vasala Narsayya (79), the recipient of the Children’s Literature Central Literary Academy Award, has passed away. He was born in Chaulamaddi, Metpalli Mandal, Jagittala, and served as a school teacher for the first time. In 1955, Narsaya began his literary career. Later, for three years, he became the editor of the school book ‘Abhyudaya Vani‘ in 1958. Since 1997, he entirely devoted himself to children’s literature.
In the form of a novel, poetry, song, and short story, he wrote 36 books. 25 of them are related to literature for kids. In addition, the Children’s Literature Award 2017 was declared by The Central Literary Academy to him.
