Free Trade Agreement Between India and Mauritius: Today Current Affairs In English
A free trade agreement between India and Mauritius was accepted by the Union Cabinet on February 17. The agreement will allow 300 Indian products to reach the Mauritius market at low customs duties. Also, 615 Mauritian items will be permitted to reach India. In addition, Mauritius will export products to India under the Free Trade Agreement, including food and drinks, agricultural products, textiles, chemicals, electrical and electronic goods.
Frozen seafood, specialized sugar, biscuits, fresh fruits, drinks, mineral water, medical and surgical instruments will be purchased by Mauritius under the agreement. In addition, Mauritius is India’s second-largest recipient of foreign direct investment.

Central Government has initiated the Cycle for Change (C4C) Challenge. It was planned to encourage cycling to support public health in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak. But, the Center revealed the names of 25 cities chosen as part of the first batch. Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning is the organizing committee for the C4C challenge.

Nurturing Neighbourhoods Challenge Scheme: Free Current Affairs Of Today
Agartala, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Dharamshala, Erode, Hubballi-Dharwad, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Kakinada, Kochi, Kohima, Kota, Nagpur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Rohtak, Rourkela, Salem, Surat, Thiruvananthapuram, Tiruppur, Ujjain, Vadodara, and Warangal cities have been chosen under the Nurturing Neighbourhoods Challenge Scheme. This scheme will aim to make the local areas responsive to children under the age of five. The mission of Smart Cities and Sustainable Planning collectively runs branches in 25 cities which are chosen under this system.
Presently, The span of the scheme is three years. Initially, applications were invited from cities under SmartCity and 63 applications were received. Finally, The Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry released the list of 25 cities under this program.

Sri Lanka fast bowler Dhammika Prasad has bid farewell to international cricket. The Sri Lanka Cricket Board posted a video on Twitter commemorating Dhammika’s retirement.
