Khazan Singh, the Chief Sports Officer of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), has been suspended. Khazan Singh is a former international swimmer and Deputy Inspector General (DIG). In 1984, Khazan was awarded the Arjuna Award. Khazan Singh won a silver medal in the 200m butterfly event at the 1986 Asian Games in Seoul, representing India. Khazan won a bronze medal at the Asian Championships and a silver medal at the World Police Games in 1988. At the 1989 South Asian Games, Khazan Singh won seven gold medals. The central government announced the award for Rajini for the year 2019. Rajinikanth became the third Tamil actor to receive the award. In Indian cinema, the Dada Saheb Phalke Award is the highest honor. The award is granted by the Indian government in recognition of outstanding contributions to the advancement and growth of Indian cinema. Since 1969, the Dada Saheb Phalke Award has been given in memory of Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, India’s father of cinema.
