ISRO Invented Automated Ventilators: Top 10 Current Affairs
ISRO has developed three types of automated compression ventilators. The cost of Prana (Programmable Respiratory Assistance for the Needy Aid) ventilators will be reduced. The ventilator can provide the patient with the appropriate flow of the oxygen-air mixture. It has a touch screen and systems such as an airway pressure sensor, a flow sensor, an oxygen sensor, and a servo actuator. Sifan Hassan, a female athlete from the Netherlands, has set a new world record in the 10,000 metres. At the athletics meet in Hengelo, Hassan ran the 10,000 metres in 29:06.82 seconds.
