‘Run for Unity: Today Current Affairs
Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated ‘Run for Unity’ in Delhi on 31st October, on the anniversary of Sardar Patel’s 146th birthday on October 31st. Yudh Abhyas: Current Affairs 2021
Ex Yudh Abhyas 2021, the 17th iteration of the India-US joint exercise, has finished at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson in Alaska on 31st October. The exercise, which finished on Friday, involved 300 US Army soldiers from the First Squadron (Airborne) of the 40th Cavalry Regiment and 350 Indian Army personnel from the 7 Madras Infantry Battalion Group, according to the ministry. Exercise Yudh Abhyas is India and the United States’ longest-running bilateral military training and defense cooperation program. It is alternately hosted by both nations. According to the report, the forces were organized into composite companies with mixed platoons from the Indian and US military, and the validation exercise concluded with a raid on an enemy location in difficult terrain and the safeguarding of important infrastructure.
