NDSA Member Recruitment 2025: The National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA), a statutory body established under Section 8(1) of the National Dam Safety Act, 2021 by the Government of India, invites applications for 5 Member posts on deputation (including short-term contract) basis. The Ministry of Jal Shakti seeks qualified officers for the following Member posts in NDSA:

Pay Scale
- Pay Level: Level-14 (Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200) in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
- Allowances: As per Central Government rules (e.g., DA, HRA, etc.).
Eligibility Criteria
- General Eligibility: Officers from Central/State Governments or similar organizations, holding an analogous post, or with 3 years in Level-13 (Rs. 1,23,100 – 2,15,900) or 2 years in Level-13A (Rs. 1,31,100 – 2,16,600).
- Member (Administration & Finance): 15 years’ experience in finance, administration, establishment, vigilance, legal, and accounting in a Government department.
- Members (Policy & Research, Regulation, Technical): Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Instrumentation (or Structural for Technical) Engineering, 15 years’ dam safety experience (design, hydrology, etc.) and policy work.
- Member (Disaster & Resilience): Degree in any discipline, 15 years in disaster management/rescue or dam safety plans (EAP, early warning).
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 58 years as on the closing date of application (24th March 2025).
Tenure
- Deputation period (including short-term contract) shall ordinarily not exceed 5 years, including any prior deputation in another ex-cadre post.
Selection Process
- Screening of applications based on eligibility, qualifications, and experience.
- Verification of documents, vigilance clearance, and cadre clearance for shortlisted candidates.
- Final selection as per Government norms.

- Enclose last 5 years’ ACRs/APARs, duly attested by an officer of Under Secretary rank or above.
- Obtain Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate, and Cadre Clearance from your employer.
