The world’s highest architectural honor, Royal Gold Medal, will go for Balkrishna Doshi belongs to 94 years old. This prestigious award will be presented by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in 2022. He is being honored for a seven-decade career that has resulted in the completion of more than 100 projects around India. The Royal Gold Medal is granted to “a person or group of persons who have made a remarkable contribution to the growth of architecture” and is “personally sanctioned by Her Majesty The Queen.” In 2022, Doshi will be honored in a unique event.
