Chief of Naval Staff: Latest Current Affairs Today
Vice Admiral R. Hari Kumar has been named as the new Chief of Naval Staff by the government. He is the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Naval Command at the moment. The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Israel’s Ministry of Defense’s Directorate of Defence Research and Development (DDR&D) have signed a Bilateral Innovation Agreement (BIA) to promote innovation and accelerated research and development in start-ups and MSMEs for the development of dual-use technologies. The deal was reached in New Delhi on November 09th. According to the Ministry of Defense, both nations’ start-ups and industries will collaborate to develop next-generation technologies and products in sectors like as drones, robotics, AI, quantum technology, photonics, energy storage, and natural language processing. DTTI Group Meeting: Latest in Current Affairs
On November 9th, the 11th Defense Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI) Group meeting between India and the United States was held digitally. The conference was co-chaired by Raj Kumar, India’s Secretary of Defence Production, and Gregory Klausner, US Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment.
