Chief of Naval Staff: Latest Current Affairs Today
Vice Admiral R. Hari Kumar has been named as the new Chief of Naval Staff by the government. He is the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Naval Command at the moment. On the 30th of this month, the current Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh will leave the military. The Indian Navy’s Executive Branch commissioned Vice Admiral R. Hari Kumar on January 1, 1983. Bilateral Innovation Agreement: 10 November 2021 Current Affairs
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Israel’s Ministry of Defense’s Directorate of Defence Research and Development (DDR&D) have signed a Bilateral Innovation Agreement (BIA) to promote innovation and accelerated research and development in start-ups and MSMEs for the development of dual-use technologies. The deal was reached in New Delhi on November 09th. According to the Ministry of Defense, both nations’ start-ups and industries will collaborate to develop next-generation technologies and products in sectors like as drones, robotics, AI, quantum technology, photonics, energy storage, and natural language processing. Products and technology will be tailored to the specific needs of both countries. The development activities will be supported equally by the DRDO and Israel’s DDR&D.

The National Achievement Survey (NAS) will be held across the country on November 12th. DTTI Group Meeting: Latest in Current Affairs
On November 9th, the 11th Defense Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI) Group meeting between India and the United States was held digitally. The conference was co-chaired by Raj Kumar, India’s Secretary of Defence Production, and Gregory Klausner, US Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment.
