The authorized rate for Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) for Nitrogen is 18.789 rupees per kilogram, 45.323 rupees per kilogram for Phosphorus, 10.116 rupees per kilogram for Potash, and 2.374 rupees per kilogram for Sulphur. A unique one-time package of extra subsidy on Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) at an approximate cost of 5 thousand 716 crore rupees has also been granted. The total amount of rollover would be 28 thousand 602 crore rupees. After subtracting savings, the net subsidy required for the rabi season in 2021-22 will be 28 thousand 655 crore rupees.
