Mullapudi Narendranath, Tanuku Joint Managing Director of Andhra Sugars Limited, won the UB Raghavendra Rao Memorial Award-2020. The award is in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the sugar industry. The Anakapalli Agricultural Research Station and Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University released a joint statement to present him with the prize. Narendranath has won three state awards, one South Indian award, three national awards, and three international awards so far. A new passenger train has been introduced between Bangladesh and India. The ‘Mithali Express‘ runs between Dhaka and New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal.
