1. Launch of ‘Ganga Aamantran’ Abhiyan: Day to Day Current Affairs
The Union minister of Jal Shakthi Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat launched ‘Ganga Aamantran’ Abhiyan, an open-water rafting and kayaking expedition in New Delhi. This expedition which begins from 10th October 2019 to 11th November 2019, will cover an area of 25,000kms from Devprayag in Uttarakhand to Ganga Sagar in West Bengal. It is reported that this expedition will enclose the five Ganga basin states- Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal. This ‘Ganga Aamantram’ Abhiyan will be managed by the Wing Commander Paramvir Singh from Indian Air Force. The main goal behind the Ganga Abhiyan is to circulate the message of river stimulation and water conservation among the people.

e-Dantseva is a National Digital Platform, that is used to provide oral health information to the people in the form of a website and also a mobile application. It was developed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, AIIMS, and other stakeholders. The center for e-Dantseva website and mobile application was launched by Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare in New Delhi on 7th October 2019. The Indian Air Force(IAF) has celebrated its Air Force Day on 8th October 2019 at Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. 5. National E-Assessment Scheme of IT Inaugurated: Top Current Affairs of 8 Oct 2019
The Revenue Secretary Shri Ajay Bhushan Pandey of UIDAI inaugurated National e-Assessment Scheme along with the National e-Assessment Centre. This scheme would benefit the Income Tax (IT) Department through Faceless e-Assessment to impart efficiency, transparency, accountability in the assessment process. There will be no physical interface between taxpayers and tax officers. Faceless e-Assessment is complete electronic communication between the tax officials and taxpayers. Through this Faceless e-Assessment, taxpayers will receive notices via registered emails and on registered accounts on the web portal www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in with real-time alert by SMS (Short Message Service) on their registered mobile number. The IT department has selected 58,322 cases for scrutiny under the notified faceless e-Assessment Scheme 2019.
6. RBI’s Consumer Confidence Survey (CCS) 2019 – Day to Day Current Affairs
The Reserve Bank of India has recently released RBI’s Monetary Policy. According to CCS, It is observed that Consumer Situation Index (CSI) reached 89.4 in September 2019. As per the RBI Monetary Policy, CCI dipped to a six-year low in September 2019. Approximately, the survey was conducted among 5192 households in 13 major cities including Bangalore, Bhopal, Delhi, Mumbai, etc. The survey is measured on five major consumer perceptions like economic situation, employment, income, spending, price level. It is also noticed that the majority of them believe the prices of essential commodities to increase in the future. The Hansa Research Group Pvt. 7. India gets the first tranche details of Swiss Bank account – Latest Current Affairs of October
Under the new Automatic Information Exchange pact, India got the first tranche of the Swiss Bank account details of the Indians. India stands among the 75 countries with which Switzerland’s Federal Tax Administration (FTA) has shared information. It is brought to the notice that the next exchange would take place in September 2020 with around 90 countries. Automatic Information Exchange pact in India is a battle against the black money and was started in 2017. According to the pact, the Swiss bank shares the details of the account to the domestic tax officials. This data helps in building strong cases against the people who have black money. Switzerland agreed to AEOI with India after the months-long process, including a review of the necessary legal framework in India on data protection and confidentiality.
