Jagjit Kaur, the wife of late musician Khayyam, passed away. The most renowned song is Jagjit Kaur’s ‘Tum Apna Ranj-o-Gum Apni Trouble Mujhe De Do‘ from the film Shagun. Khayyam and Kaur married in 1954. In the film industry, it was one of the first intercommunal weddings. For his contributions to music, Khayyam has earned the Padma Bhushan, National Award, and Filmfare Award from the Sangeet Natak Akademi. 1st Drone Forensic Laboratory and Research Center: Free Current Affairs
